Hypebeast Reviews - Nobody Fronted Us -s1
by: Chad Jordan July 31st 2008
Allot of times Hip Hop songs can contain so much fantasy and excess that it disconnects with the listener. The sordid tales of drug kingpins, luxury lifestyles and even the ultra serious militant political MCs can take its strain. The artists can become one dimensional characters and nothing more then cartoon characters with a microphone. Independent record label FrontStreet fills the gap of music that we can all relate to. One of the stand out artists on the roster is MC Oseeola. On the track “Streetwear” the hungry MC rips through his bars with enough hardcore swagger to compliment the bass heavy head nodding track.  He spits rhymes about the crispiest new graphic tees from brands we all beast over like The Hundreds, Mishka, Supreme and Alife among others. It looks like someone has been spending some time on Hypebeast. Check out FrontStreet’s website for other bangers and for a place that you can purchase the album from Oseeola and some of their other artists. If the rest of them spit anything like this you haven’t heard the last from FrontStreet.
